CANACO speculation

In reading Canaco's boards today there is speculation that Canaco raised money to better position themselves for a potential buyout.  I wonder what you all think as to how that could/would impact DLKM?  I'm thinking that if somebody is paying big bucks for that Magambazi trend, then they would want all of it.  Obviously we need that drill program to get underway.  It was mentioned that there was a possibility of DLKM drilling earlier than expected.  Maybe there is pressure to get an idea of what the mineralization looks like in case a deal goes down next door.  Also, a couple of weeks ago we shot up quick as somebody bought a lot of our stock over a few day span.  This is all speculation and imagination on my end for the sake of conversation.

Hi JJ40: These are my thoughts on Canaco and Dlkm. It is not just the Magabesi trend that wiil drive Canaco and Douglas but I feel that there are multiple trends on these properties. Just like on Craigs last news release. I think that he sees multiple trends on Douglas property. Please go to the last NR map  which shows the Magabesi trend and where the rock samples that Craig picked up were ...more

Man, was I wrong. I was completely convinced that CAN offered this financing because they were preparing to start mining the property. I promptly called several "old geezers" who spent most of their lives investing in exploration and mining stocks. Almost every single one of them immediately responded that CAN is most likely positioning themselves for a takeover. It makes sense for a few ...more

My personal opinion is that the Hendeni property will not be bought by Can. But you never know anything can happen. Maybe there will be 2 majors that come into the picture. One buys Douglases Hendini property and one that buys Canaco. The person that holds all the cards here is Mengi. I think he will do whatever is best for Douglas and the people of Tanzania. All us stockholders should thank God ...more

Saturday, I did notice that the recent NR was showing strong mineralization north of the main magambazi trend zone.  Earlier NR's suggest @ 40 km strike length so there's quite the potential.  Thanks for the thoughts on the post.SA, I saw your post on the CAN board and I too thought that mining would have made sense.  After reading everybody's insight buyout seems ...more

I agree that Mengi won't settle here.  At least I hope that he doesn't for our sake.  Obvioulsy that is why he took the share route with DLKM as opposed to getting a lump some.  SA, thanks for planting the possible DLKM idea on the Canaco board.  Nobody has bit yet.  They're too busy flexing ego.  I'm actually surprised that DLKM hasn ...more
