Do you recall when the agreements were going to be signed "in the next few days"?  That was two months ago.  Therefore, "the next few weeks" in Ecuadorian Government parlance must mean several more months.  Considering they have NEVER met a deadline, official or unofficial, I am not expecting them to come anywhere close to getting this done in a few weeks time.
