Technical selling??

Technical selling??This selling has been purely technical without any regard to fundamentals. Gold has risen over $100 in last few weeks and now approaching $1300. DMM announces good production numbers last quarter. Good to see some buying coming into the market. Any thoughts on why the selling?  Maybe a fund technical selling or an individual with a large position force to sell for whatever reasons?
