Core Gold’s Locations - 2a) Dynasty Goldfields and Celica

Core Gold’s Locations - 2a) Dynasty Goldfields and Celica

The Dynasty Goldfields contain both the Celica operating surface mine, and the exploration projects relying on nearby concessions.  The name “Dynasty Goldfields” is here meant to cover the projects closest to Celica, leaving Linderos, Copper Duke and other large Core Gold projects for separate consideration.

In the two images below, at the top in Google Earth, the outer pale-yellow rectangle encloses the area of the key concessions at Dynasty.  The actual concessions are irregular but fit within that rectangle.  In the lower image, the corresponding area is coloured gold and titled "Dynasty Goldfield Project".

The length of demonstrated gold mineralization extending NW from the Celica mine has been given previously as 6 km, a remarkable strike.  Per the short red-orange arrowed line at bottom, Dynasty concessions overall extend 15 kilometers diagonally along the geological trend.

Further Core Gold project concessions are contiguous, within a large geologically favourable belt indicated by the area between the dotted lines at bottom.  Gold mineralization has been demonstrated in various form throughout Core Gold’s adjoining concessions, and per the longer yellow-gold arrowed line drawn in, the contiguous extent is about 46 km.

Beyond that, the Copper Duke and Copper Field projects also lie with this favourable belt, extending 84 km, leaving aside Jerusalem and other Core Gold concessions outside this region.  That represents remarkably large exploration "jewel box" in what appears to be one of the richest gold zones on the planet.  This vast expanse of gold mineralization and development potential is truly a classic “district play”.

Zooming in somewhat below, the Dynasty concessions area are detailed in matching images.  The Celica mine at Dynasty is named for the nearby town of Celica, located just where the “68” highway route indicator appears in the image at left.

The geological province is known to be highly prospective.  Next-door firm Cornerstone Resources has demonstrated mineralization at their Bramaderos project, including 28 meters of 3.9 g/t (August 6, 2019 news release, trench 8).

In the following image set, Cornerstone’s Cariamanga geological mapsheet at Bramaderos is shown at top, with the Dynasty Celica mine denoted by a yellow ring overlaid on the mapsheet, and the Copper Duke drill pads with a purple-blue ring.

In the lower image is shown the same area from Core Gold’s projects map, plus a small cutout taken from the Bramaderos map at top, geolocated to the Core Gold concessions.  Core Gold’s Papayal has demonstrated roughly 6 g/t at surface, and from the contiguous geology, there is every reason to believe that the two gold fields may be continuous.
