Why I can not sell the Titan shares?

I have account in ScotiaiTRADE, I tendered my CGLD shares weeks ago, but did not receive the TTM shares, the shares I received is called "Titan Minerals Ltd 8R58590" so ScotiaiTRADE does not allow me to sell these shares.

ScotiaiTRADE said these share are not recognizable so that is why I can not trade it.

Does anyone able to sell Titan shares? How to fix this issue?

Thank you!

Looks like you are 100% correct Spiritflyer.  No one to buy Titan shares now.  And when folks who tendered their shares to Titan, like the poster immediately following this one, get their Titan shares and try and unload them as quickly as possible, my guess is Titan will settle at 5 cents a share. I base that on a couple things: - reading the 4 th quarter results from Titan, they lost ...more

Hey Ronnie111.  I would think much of your analysis is correct.  Would differ on you and if you run a pool, to see where Titans shares are headed, I want the square for 5cents, you know the one that reads, at this point Marsland and our BOD will part out and sell Core Gold, take huge profits from the sale as a finders fee, load up on all the gold they can skim in the meantime, and then ...more

There is probably fine print somewhere in that phone book Titan sent around to shareholders that lets them do this and/or they are waiting until they totally close the transaction before giving you Titan Shares. All you can really do is complain to the TSX Venture Exchange and the BC Securities Council that you feel like you were misled and go from there. That might speed up the issuance of ...more

And the first mate cried out, "Abandon ship, we have hit an iceberg".  It will be carnage for those who have to try and trade the worthless shares of titan.  Just look below at the latest trading and the red the shares are sinking into.  And into the abyss they headed, knowing the would never see the surface again.  If they can get out now they can get about 32 cents ...more

So I got you in at 5 cents., Spiritflyer. And don't forget the prize: 100,000 shares of Titan.   But it is getting a little confusing for me because if they go bankrupt then the share price will be zero.  Maybe I will hedge my bet and also take zero.  Hey, it is my game, I make the rules, I get as many guesses as I want.     And I agree the bankruptcy ...more

Prob ably since the take over is not settled yet. You can't sell them as CoreGold shares since you tendered them to Titan. You can;t sell them as Titan shares since that hasn;t really happened yet (core share into titan share.) So if you wanted to sell you shoud have sold your core shares and not tendered them to titan.  Perhaps you can rescind the tender and then sell them as Core. I ...more

Let us know what happens. It's too late now, but many of us saw this a long ways away. You've traded real value, in core gold, for fiat paper that has declining value. The real value was in core gold. Once your shares are tradeable (they have settled or whatever) I expect titan to be trading for no more than 8 cents. Don't forget the currency conversion, in combo with a race to the ...more

Ok, 1kgcoffee I will put you down for 8 cents.  Spiritflyer is at 5 cents.  And I had picked 3 cents and zero.  But I was thinking a longer time frame, like the ultimate share price for Titan which probably is zero.  But if we make the share price guess for when the shares that Core Shareholders tendered to Titan become freely tradeable, than I would go in for 6 cents.  So ...more
