DV Unveils Drill Results from Wolf & Moose Veins Dolly Varden Silver Corp (Ticker DV.v or DOLLF for US investors) has reported significant drill results from the Wolf Vein at its Kitsault Valley Project, showcasing robust silver mineralization with high-grade intercepts.
The standout drill result is from hole DV23-375, an 81-meter step-out from previous mineralization, which intersected an impressive 461 g/t AgEq over 26.99 meters. This includes 2,260 g/t AgEq over 0.50 meters. The results showcase depth continuity of high-grade silver mineralization and an increase in base metal content, indicating the potential for expansion.
The company's President and CEO, Shawn Khunkhun, expresses enthusiasm about the ongoing exploration, citing a notable extension in plunge length and thickness of potentially underground bulk-mineable mineralization.
In 2023, a total of 51,454 meters were drilled in 115 holes, with 31 holes for 15,860 meters dedicated to the Wolf Vein. The exploration camp has been winterized after completing the drill program. With over 70 drill holes yet to be assayed and announced, Dolly Varden Silver anticipates further exciting results.
Additionally, initial drilling at the Moose Vein, located 1.5 kilometers North of Wolf, has revealed silver mineralized veining similar to that found in the Wolf system. Notably, the Moose Vein is within a 5.4-kilometer-long belt of silver mineralization.
Drill hole DV23-371 intercepted 712 g/t Ag over 1 meter within a 7.55 meters length interval averaging 269 g/t Ag. This discovery positions Moose Vein as a noteworthy extension of Dolly Varden's prolific Kitsault Valley Trend.
