There is a great silence going on in the industry as a whole. You don't here of many annoucments anymore unless they are clearly assay related.

It's clear here now that there is still a tremendous amount of uncertainty in funding. I knew at the begining of 08 that the credit markets would blow and that credit would be hard to come by. I thought though that there would always be money for good, large, deposits. Not the case and I don't see much improvement yet. As far as the mothball thought....I doubt it. They could continue to drill to the west and infill for years to come which would ultimatly improve the balance sheet. This is by far the best and low cost option going forward
