RE: anyone have positive sentiment
RE: anyone have positive sentimentI believe it will take some time for DIT to get back on its feet let alone return to its new highs. The "high" was primarily due to the high price of uranium that I believe will not return until the demand is there and that will most probably take a couple of years at the least.
When the Chinese bailed out of the LOI, because of the economic turmoil in the US, they moved on to protect their own interest (only normal) - keeping their venture money at home to stabilize their own economy. To think they had DIT's management come to China knowing full well that there was a strong possibily they would bail out.
DIT should be looking to India which is now on an expansion plan that will include the building of a number of nuclear fuel plants - this is one effort they should really move on towards especially since Canada has lifted its embargo on their sales to India. Anyone going to their annual meeting in June should bring this point up front and insist why they are not moving on this front - forget the Chinese I do not trust them anyhow - have dealt with them before - their motto "cheap, cheap, cheap" both buy and sell fronts in terms of products and services. We all have heard about their sub products in numerous fields from drugs to the latest, dry wall, on and on.
would never want DIT to deal with them again - I do not trust them and would seriously consider pulling any investment in companies that deal with them. I really hope DIT learned a good lesson and moves on to see what they can do with India - this country is on the move and will not wait for DIT to wake up - there are others out there - Australia will become an important player when their government opens up the way to "uranium" exploration. In terms of reserves Canada is first in line followed closely by Australia.
All this to say that I do not expect, although I do not have a crystal ball" that DIT will bring us a ROI over the next two years.
