RE:RE:RE:RE:new issue 10.50 You dont need to cover the 8% yield on the short.  You can just short it now for any amount over 10.50 and cover within a month by participating in any ot the offering at 10.50

$300 million in Canada is a pretty big amount.  If the stock dropped to 10.50-60 range it would not be a surprise but it sounds like a resonable time to add some shares if you were thinking of investing in this company or increasing your investment.

longer term this looks very promising and should ensure their ability to pay dividends so I see the stock eventually going back up over $11 once all the new paper is absorbed.  Good hold for a nice annual return.

lucky for me I have some funds set aside for just an occasion like this.
