Dream Global: €27mn office buy in Essen

According to Dream Global's 2015 financial report, the Canada-based REIT paid the equivalent of about €27mn on February 3 for the "Europa-Center" office building in Essen. The average five-year cap rate is 7.2%. The 26,500 sqm property was acquired from Europa-Center AG. Dream Global also announced the purchase of an unspecified asset in Munich. During the year, 51 properties were sold for the equivalent of about €72mn. Dream Global, since 2012, has made sales from its original Post real estate portfolio that amount to around €195mn.
