These guys claim: 

"There’s just one problem. Through the first six months of 2016, Dream Global earned $0.40 per share in funds from operations. It paid out the same amount. That’s not sustainable over the long term."

In light of todays crash-horny stock market I think it is an important reminder for REIT investors:  Metric of REITs. Vacancy to Break Even Ratio is your ultimate risk metric. How Vacant can it go and still Break Even & more importantly pay the dividend? ....any...guesses....for....dream...global....?

I think exchange rates with the Euro have a lot to do with the high payout. Right now, all of Europe, including Germany, is a huge bargain for those who live in Dollars.

I sold all my holdings of this a couple weeks back, it seems like you can always get back in under 9.... so why hold? get the divi and dump it and buy back lower over and over again.
