Here are some thoughts

First, the cost of the size of building for the micro grow if it were sold to a separate company is 200-300 000 (this has been stated previously and why it doesnt make much sense for growing broccoli anywhere other than nunavut or if subsidized). Since EHT would only pay cost it would be less. You can grow 3 cannabis cycles on average through the year, maybe 4 if you are lucky and if you use strains that flower faster and grow shorter. The cost per cycle to grow 600kg is pretty nil, either you are buying clones, have your own clones or buy from seeds and even buying from seed for the best seeds would still be in the low tens of thousands MAX. Say they lose half a crop and sell at 6.50 (average) they still make 1.5 million. Hopefully the grow set up and work with Growratio means they dont lose on average half a crop (it would be more likely to lose a crop in full every now and then but lets call it on average). This is a great idea for the company but the REAL question here is the license. First, I thought we did away with recreational vs. Medical license scheme and it is all under the recreational license other than personal. The recreational grows are just allowed to sell to medical patients cheaper and under different strain restrictions. Please correct me if I am wrong on this. Second, we actually have to get this license otherwise we can still only grow tomatoes in the box when showcasing it to producers and saying "but it will work just as well for your weed". Fantastic news if this plans out but I'm not going to get excited about this aspect of the company just yet.

You are wrong on the cheaper part for medical patients as I am one of them no difference in  price. Government infrastructure funding and a redirection of food subsides mostly used to cover transportation funds would reduce the cost. That is why IMHO locating in North Bay and creating and contributing to the announced partnerships will pay significant dividends in the future.  This ...more

I thought as a medical patient you could register with a licensed producer directly and pay less. The quoted average in the news release implies as such too because $6.50 a gram is like half the price of retail cost per gram (well, 65% of the cost)

Yes I got mine from tweed however the quality declined and price increased once it became leagalized. I have yet to buy any from Gov stores. I was purchasing from illegal stores and they were all shut down. I now buy from black market delivery to your door service 1/2 the gov price better quality fresher and no taxes. Tweed at one point had quite the selection and better prices however shipping ...more
