Is there any indication when the record date is going to be

For the spinout royalty shares? I believe it was mentioned it was going to be sometime late this month, but I have not seen anything official from EPL yet...

The meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday) to approve the arrangement. Expect the Royalty shares to be in our accounts 2nd to 3rd week of May if the paperwork is expedited. Great close today, lots more buyers coming in at the 33 cent level. Gold and other metals all behaving. Juniors have had a drought for a long time but this could be the year they start flying. Keep your eyes on the venture index

Btw when your say 'record date' you do mean transfer date yes ??. The record date of holding EPL shares to get the royalty spin out has already passed.

Ninelives, I think you are wrong. I had the same question and asked Mike Labach. Here is the response. March 17 was the record date for shareholders to vote for the spin-off on March 26. Meaning if you were a s/h on record on the 17, then you get to vote those shares for the spin-out plan of arrangement which will be tabulated at the 26th meeting.    The record date for the spin

Ok I just found the correction following their earlier news release of March 1st. This new one dated March 16th. In the News Release, Eagle Plains stated the following: The record date for the Spin-out Transaction (i.e. the cut-off date for eligible EPL securityholders to receive a 1/3 spin-out share of Eagle Royalties) is expected to be March 17, 2023. I guess on the other hand any holder who missed out can still buy the royalty shares on the open market once they get listed or still buy EPL to get them (as it hasn't moved much) from 30 cents if the closing date hasn't transpired yet. Too funny.  Basically the 17th date should never have been mentioned as it didn't mean anything.

I recall a prior news release indicated a financing may be priced at CAD 30 cents. While I could be wrong, I expect that one of the larger royalty companies will acquire the new Eagle Plains royalty compay.  It's not a question of if - but of when and how much.  Let the bidding begin! Well I certainly hope it's a combined amount that comes in around 35 cents. (10 for the royalty 25 for EPL). so many good things happening I'm happy to hold and wait.

I'm happy to hold (and accumulate) at this level. Today's downturn I'm thinking is more of a head fake than a sustained reversal. GLTA
