Look at Sabina...

Sabina reached 450 mln. market cap yet again but our little Elgin still struggling under 100 mln.

Quarter results should be coming soon and should provide a clear picture of Goz acquisition.

Personally I don't believe Elgin people made a mistake but confirmation would be nice.

Recent higher volume trading at prices near 52-week lows indicate that Q2 results will likely be brutal.  I suspect it will be continued cost creep at Bjorkdal that cannot be contained with the end result after adding in the non-cash depreciation and amortization that they are either barely breaking even or even losing money with the softer gold price.  I think Elgin management's ...more

I think the higher cost mining was taken into account. From the beginning the measures for cost reduction were introduced. That included control over grade dilution by reducing the stopes, grade control drilling, getting rid of contractors. It is possible that  we will see the higher production cost due to these measures. The results are promised by mid September. With the 2nd Qr ...more

So let``s just say we go through a lateral move in the stock price until Lupin restart.  If it gets up and running and on track from 2014 Q1 what would the stock price speculation be on today``s price of gold combined with the other projects/prospects?  Let's assume 100,000 ounces per year at Lupin and 40,000 at Bjorkdal to start. From what they have released it sounds promising ...more

Q2 results out after market close.  My prediction is pretty bang on.  Cash flow generation over four months is non-existant.  Cost creep is nearing $1100/oz cash cost.  Income from operations is just under $1M.  Not much dough to spread out over nearly 150M shares out ...
