Short interest sees a big drop...
Short interest sees a big drop...The numbers I get from stockwatch have short interest, current up to Jan 31st at 642,000 a drop of 310,900 from the previous period. Obviously there was some covering going on in the 2nd half of January. The only reasonable conclusion I can draw is that, on balance, it was shareholders bailing as opposed to bears borrowing and dumping....ovwhelmingly by and large.
