RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Supply deal

With any and all demand currently being met by unofficial means (black market) [aside from some medical], this will simply continue - there will be no great issue on the demand side. Great point about demand increasing by a large amount once the full range of products becomes available. Maybe you can fill me in on why the 1 year mark is the point which people reference for this?

The thing that seems to be the mental hurdle, is that there will be a need to move that product for LPs who are producing large kg amounts of cannabis with no distribution networks.

People seem to think, "Well, they can just hold it until the market opens up more". But the market will never open up to abide that large of a surpluss, and there will only be more product available as time moves forward. Product stockpiles will be growing by the day, meanwhile there will only be incremental increases in the availability of shelf space through opening of govt. channels and slowly increasing govt. efficiency with online.

So the weed will pile up rather quickly, it would appear. Meanwhile the weed's quality and the reason to hold onto it will be diminishing. While the motivation to move it will only increase.

I think LPs are seeing this reality. They are all waiting for the final supply agreements with the provinces as well as the private retail licences and the agreements for supply that will take shape once they are announced. Once some of this is cleared up, we will see the losers (most LPs) start to look for outlets for their product.

However as the secondary market for cannabis becomes flooded, there will not only be lots available, it will be cheap compared to what is being sold direct to governments and retails.

Should be real a purdy situation for anyone with the cash on hand and the supply channels.

The more time presses on, the more clear this is. The market will catch up to us - I hope ;)
