Ok, Ive been checking in here and yahoo's EMC message board for about 6 months just to see whats going on. I own 11,751 shares. I just got a reply from Ethan, Emblem new investor relations guy. I emailed about my concerns that Emblem isn't producing value for shareholders as promised and requested some clarification about this issue. I emailed the day before the Emblem Germany press release, so neeless to say I was pleasantly surprised the next day. I got a reply from Ethan today which I think is going to provide a lot of security to longs like myself. Some people may not like it, some people may love it. I love it. We will see a much greater revenue stream near term. I am getting super excited. Here is the copy pasted email from Ethan:

We have not started construction on Paris Road yet. We are looking at other solutions to have supply online in the short term, but I can't say any more than that at the moment. Paris Road is still in our plans.

 

Unrelated to Paris Road, please have a look at our press release from yesterday (if you haven't seen it yet). Massive news for us as we can receive much greater margins in Germany due to their insurance coverage of medical cannabis.

Yea I asked him over the phone that will they have a short term supply agreement with supreme cannabis in preperation for legalization untill paris road gets done, he didnt say yes but he said "that would be a great example". Reminder emc has 83mil cash in their balance sheet.

If any LP were to buy Emblem I would hope that it was CannTrust. They are a very well run shop with a reasonable valuation and seem to be aligned with Emblem’s view of the direction of the industry. They could also benefit from Emblem’s marketing expertise and Emblem could benefit from their near team supply. They are also the only twp LPs that are currently working on an XR pill (to my knowledge)

I used to think that it would be at least a year before we hit supply/demand equilibrium but I've come to realize that supply/distribution equilibrium will be far more important. If there is a bottleneck in distribution then any demand in excess of distribution is irrelevant. Given that 75% of the population will be served by a grand total of about 60 stores I would say that supply

The act has a provision stating that the full gamut of cannabis products will be allowed within 12 months. So could be sooner than 12 months but no later than 12 month. What I am not clear on is if it is within 12 months of royal ascent (which would be June 2019 or 12 months from the legalization date (which would be Oct 2019).
