Thanks for asking. From passed experience , we all know that the market makers for certain equities are mainly the big bank brokerage houses and some large financial institutions. Without the financial leverage power, the Smaller financial institutions usually stick with penny stocks for market making.If they come to the bigger markets, its for a different agenda.  On canadian stocks of my interest, I print out the "Net House Summary" at daily closing and visually filter out the market makers and see whats left and see whose buying over a period.  A new entry  to day ( BBS Securities #028) came in late afternoon and paid a price of  $1.12 for about 40,000 shares and traded to end up net buying 10K+ shares. I'll watch out for it the next few days to see if they are traders or buying for others. In the pass two weeks,  I have 5 companies that I have put on my buyers for others list. I think we have bottomed out with these buyers. good luck to you and all longs & do your own DD.
