whats wrong with EMC?

I own WEED, APH, THCX , EMC, ACB , OGI and im green in ALL of them but EMC. Their all not too far from ATH and EMC is far from that. Was it way overvalued not long ago ? Even THCX had a lower market cap back then and it catched up on EMC like nothing ...i m not too deep in the water but just curious, let me know why , cheers

Contact the co. and ask where the Q3 expansion NR is. I think if enough shareholders bug them, they will take notice. Definitely an LP that's been left behind. Problem is, all LPs you mention are growing capacity by leaps and bounds. Emblem is kind of just twirling its thumbs. Gotta think that some of the $$ will eventually flow into all co.s in this space - that's perhaps what we are ...more

Thank you for the clarification. It doesn't appear they have done either and if they have (i.e. the pharma facility) would be nice to hear about it. Guess the point is that other LPs are expaning capacity at lightening speed and EMC appears to be quite slow in their approach. Right now the market appears to only be concerned with granting higher valuations to those LPs that can increase ...more

No reason to believe they haven’t started construction on their Pharma facility just because they haven’t sent out a press release about it. If you haven’t noticed these guys aren’t in the habit of sending out a press release every time they think about possibly making a move on something at some undisclosed time in the future. They didn’t even send out a press release about commencing production ...more

Regarding the news release about breaking ground on their expansion, I agree with you. CanniMed began the 20 month expansion project for their oil facilty in Saskatoon in September and there wasn't any news release.  I live nearby their facility and I see machines at work daily but there has been no news release. They are a very reputable company. No news doesn't always mean bad news ...more

Agreed, but I would also say that part of IR's job is to ensure value is being attributed to the shareholders and this entails updating the market as to material activity b/c no news is often construed as bad news i.e. missed target timeline etc. I'm not saying they need to pump the stock, but they owe it shareholders to do what they can to create value and sometimes that means a bit of PR ...more
