RE: RE: New license block next to 1711Thank you Passport.Not much is known about AlphaPetro,but on their website it says they have cooperation with governments,major international companies and major international banks.
I know that a seismic study on the area west of 1711,now the new block1710 held by AlphaPetro,was performed
after the drilling of Kunene.Now we know that it was performed for AlphaPetro.
We dont know if there is another company or bank behind AlphaPetro.
Its interesting they performed the seismic west of 1711 and why AlphaPetro applied for that particular block.
Maybe a coincidence but the director of AlphaPetro took part of the economic forum in St.Petrsburg in Russia this summer.We know that Nakor and Energulf is searching for new investors to 1711.
