You are absolutely right about that,and the third prospective formation that was not included in the old
report is the Bucomazi.
ENG had data of old 2D seismic covering 300km2.The total area of Lotshi is 475km2.
According to ENG reprocessing of that old sesimic has shown multiple high prospective leads that now
are in the process to be upgraded to prospects.
These leads were not known when they did the old resource estimate as far as I know.
ENG has done gravimetric work,studied surface oil samples in the east of Lotshi bordering the
Mavuma block where there are known tar sand deposits in the ground estimated to be worth 6 billion$.
According to ENG this latest new 2D seismic,200km long lines,were mainly constructed to augment
the old one.I interpret that as they mainly laid the new seismic lines in between the old ones to get a better
understanding of the known leads.353m barrels is good,we know that there will be more.
