RE:RE:Question for the board
RE:RE:Question for the boardThe blocks always were divided like that.1711 A with the Kunene prospect is smaller than normal
most blocks, because its on the border to Angola.1711 B is the block wich they will explore next.
The namibians have not updated the lisence map for a year.
There is still great interest in Namibia maybe not as much as before HRT drilled but its still good.
In april Repsol will drill a well about 150 km from us.Tullow paid a lot recently to farm into Pancontinentals blocks. They also plan to drill more wells at Kudu gas field.
BP withdrew from Sericas blocks.
We are waiting for an agreement with the Chinese. Its common that new operators reimburse old costs to the previous operator.I think Energulf spent about 13 milj $ om 1711.That could be enough for more sesmic and a new well.
I havent managed to find informastion on the net about the new operator, that is somewhat strange for such an expensive block as 1711.The new operator is Gazania 148 and
Shaanxi Yuyang Petroleum Technology Engineering Co. Ltd.
I only found Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum. Is it a typing error?
If it indeed is an unknown company as Shaanxi Yuyang some biggeer player has to be behind them.
