RE:RE:3D seismic in 1711 will be done !They only area that was covered with 3D in block 1711 was around the Kunene well.
They have 2D in the south of 1711 around Hartman prospect.
They need 3D to identify specific drill sites.Also on Energulfs website they say they identified structures in the basement.
Gazania should have done 2500km2 of 3D,the Namibians never signed the agreement.
Now there is no mentioning about Gazania...
On page 5 is the area that will be covered with 3D,marked in red,almost all of 1711 apart from close to the Kunene drill site.Its interesting that they will cover the northern part of block 1811 with 3D again,that area is covered with 3 D.Chariot earlier identified 2 drill ready prospects,Zamba and Tapir north but they relinquished the block when they didnt manage to farm it out.
All of block 1710 west of 1711 will be covered with seismic.Very deep water there,Ive heard there could be a salt layer there.
