ORT Recap, Price, Analysts, Rusal

ORT Recap, Price, Analysts, Rusal

Here are the facts that drive speculative stocks for all you new investors on this board

- RUS is interested in the technology and the patents, does not care about the stock. They throw in a small strategic investment, 25M, coffee money for them. What does this tell us? They want to be involved in anything that could affect their business, input costs, etc. It's a hedge. If it was a sure thing, they could buy up the co in various ways, that's obviously not the case right now.

- This is a spec play. There's no revenues, its based on a technology that has to scale, there are many unknowns. At this stage, only boutique firms cover the company. you can take it for whatever its worth, mackie's target, Jacob's and now Byron who seems to be valuing the Co., but on Byron's web site, there is no mention of any coverage or report on ORT under the guy's name. So at this stage, many unknowns, you get extreme views, although I'll admit that the contrarian nature of this alleged Byron is interesting. These are datapoints, opinions, I would read them for the background info, forget about the target prices, or use them as guidelines.

- Posters can go ahead and say that this process is great, it works, or it doesn't. How on earth can anyone know this besides the metallurgical engineers and chemists who have been working on this for years They can't, so whatever Investor X says, it is fluff, good and bad. They are in no position to "know" much.

- THis is not RBC or Barrick. The price is going to fluctuate wildly because it isn't based on anything tangible right now (such as revenuje and earnings). Last year, stock went up 250% to a high of 5+ and now it's down 60% from there.

- If anything derails the technology, what value does ORT have? Clay. think about that. This isn't a high grade open pit gold mine. This is a mining technology company with a massive amount of clay on hand. How much is clay in the ground worth? Let's say you're not going to make any jewelry with it.

- The hodgkins guy was right, it is speculative, if the scenario plays out well, it could be a 10 bagger, but until we get confirmation and revenue generation, anything can happen. As we get more partners on board, funding etc, the risks diminish somewhat, and so should the volatility of the SP, but the value is in the success of the process, and its VERY hard for investors tu put a value on that at this stage.
