ETG vs IVN

ETG is interesting, I've learned a lot since 2005, next yr will be my 20th anniversary with ETG

rcently ETG has reinforced other lessons about avoiding juniors that parther with majors, RIO getting invovled has been ugly for investors

ETG also gave me a solid intro to Friedland, I followed him to the new African IVN in 2016, its up well over 10X since then, somepeople know how to promote, IVN was close to $10 in Nov and now it's over $20

amazing to contrast the diff between sometihng controlled by RIO and something controlled by RF, and in my opinion ETG had the better upside it it had been drilled/explored/developed for the benefit of shareholders instead of RIO and GofM

funny, I followed ETG posters from stochouse to investor village many yrs ago and now back to stockhouse, cycles of life, maybe RF is one of the 'invisible' ETG shareholders and he'll come back to help get a fair ETG valuation from RIO, wishful thinking

I think there's a chunk of ETG shares that belongs to someone that isn't bein gvery public about what they own, maybe key people from Mongolia, people who got startup shares by contributiong something?? maybe shares held in offshore accounts for the last 20 yrs, I don't konw. But I can hope that RF recognized the potential of ETG back in the day and he landed some of the mystery

Picky, I suppose we all have our suspicions about this question of who has an interest in ETG. There is no real promotion or distribution.  No brokerage or underwriter has the slightest interest.  No institutional interest or trading - not enough paper or liquidity to allow a mutual fund or pension fund in and out in sufficient value.  Management passes GO annually and just socks

CG, I'm guessing some early large shareholders own through off shore account, they probably thought the deal would play out a lot earlier, didn't we all. I've got 2 preferred outcomes 1. the mystery holders have a lot of infuence to ensure full and fair valuation or  2. RIO brings a major into the play by having them buy ETG first, that puts cash in RIO hands and lessens the
