Valuation Gap with Alpha Minerals should

close: At the very least, FCU should trade at

par with Alpha Minerals. Based on the sum of

its parts, FIS traded at a 15%-20% discount to

its fair value relative to AMW. There is no

reason for FCU to not trade at least at the

same valuation (and perhaps arguably higher).

Based on AMW’s closing price, we estimate the

fully diluted par value for FCU to be

$0.63/share.

I get that although don't see why they think FCU should trade arguably higher... if FCU's valuation doesn't reflect other properties so what? neither does AMW. My question was why once the gap in valuation closes would you want to own the partner that has 5x the amount of shares available for trade? Would CF's thinking include that because the price per share is 5x ...more

Leverage The obviosu thing your missing is that to take an equal interest in PLS, FCU is the cheapest option..you'd get  15% greater interest in PLS right now by buying FCU than going the AMW route..

letsgetready is right, if you were buying into the play now. FCU is the better route, but if you are already aboard AMW at much earlier and cheaper prices as to where it trades now, stay put as they will both find that equalibrium and trade at equal values considering their share bases into the equation. I have both, bought into AMW at .56 cents and FIS back then @ .55 cents, I will stay with my ...more
