The original NR says "a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with Espial to provide the service provider’s next generation user experience and client solutions for set-top boxes, TVs, wireless and PC devices. Espial will integrate and deliver Espial’s RDK set-top box client solution together with the Espial G4 User Experience, a complete out-of-the-box HTML5 user experience for TV, Tablets and Smartphones"

The highlited key words "multi-year" and "integrate" combined with the fact that Rogers has never even announced the new product has always lead me to believe that there is a lot to do on the Rogers backend systems - perhaps their legacy sysems are written in COBOL??   No analyst to date has ever suggested that Espial is "late" and they know that integrating systems is rarely a piece of cake.

Now having developed and implemented computer systems throughout my career, its my assumption that Rogers is avoiding announcing the new system until they can be sure that they can have their own internal systems ready to interface with Espial's.

As I said, that's my assumption, also based on hints (during the last call) that one of the European tier 1 announced this year 2015 may be going live in Q4 this same year so seemingly no apparent problem delivering a product of equivalent scope at Espial's end.

You might indeed be right, but on what logical basis then are you blaming Espial for not having delivered the product?
