Was there an Espial's some new announcement?

The stock price is acting nicely. I thought someone mentioned some announcement. Or, I must be been dreaming :-)

Just guessing here but one factor may be that client TeleColumbus continues to acquire subscribers via acquisitions  - subs have doubled since the initial NR on Mar 30. Keep in mind that for each sub, Espial gets $10 initially plus $1.50 annually.

Wow||| That's a good multiplier.  $10 per sub.  Thanks Luberon.

Sure, I see the $10 initial from my notes of the Feb 27/14 call and the $1.50 ongoing rev derived from the following: https://www.cantechletter.com/2015/04/espials-wins-are-set-to-accelerate-says-global-maxfin/ My understanding is that these numbers would kick in only once the customer app is in operation so any TC revenue to June 30 would be for professional services only.

As of now, TC has asked Espial to build an operational system that their customers can use. Once that is delivered to TC (late 2015, early 2016?), payment will become due.

The three major award news releases with tier 1 cablecos are: 1) North American tier 1 on Oct 16, 2013.   Unnamed, but widely believed to be Rogers. 2) European tier 1 on Jan 13, 2015.   Unnamed so far. 3) European tier 1 on March 30, 2015.  Unnamed when announced but now know to be TeleColumbus. Any revenue so far has been for professional services (e.g. proof-of ...more

Hard to say without a detailed knowledge of Espial's products and the number and complexity of operators' support systems (e .g. billing etc) requiring interfaces. I mentioned proof-of-concept but other than that it might be more in terms of consultations and implementation of interfaces. As for the other European tier1, Orange is tempting but only if it's one of their subsidiairies - ...more
