RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Deal Is 100 % Going Through - Have A Listen !!Wikipedia shows SICPA sales at 1.4 bil swiss franks in 2005. Swiss frank is at 98 cents USD so $1.5 is in the realm of possibilty for sure. One thing I have come to realize after researching SICPA is that they are an absolutely huge company with operations almost anywhere you could name. They have been realigning their business in the past few years , selling off certain divisions while adding in other areas.
They seem to be focusing on Government contracts to aid in the recovery of taxes and exposure of fraud and counterfeiting. This goes for currency , cigarettes , liquor , and now with fuel. They are making sure they have the ability to be a one stop security and revenue capture company to serve Governments around the world. The fuel end is the one high tax commodity that SICPA is currently lacking any form of service to governments and it is perfectly clear why they want GFI considering their corporate realignment plans.
