Was not Zen that posted that but I guess facts are not important to you. I have owned shares in several companies that announced they had hired a PR firm and went on a big spending blitz to try and shore up their share price. One of them is GLK . They brought in PR firm and did a big advertising blitz on Stockhouse to mention just one of the outfits they advertised with. They got a big writeup on Stockhouse for their investment as well as banner ads etc..They did interviews on all the stock promo sites and it seemed you could hardly go through a day without seeing something on GLK.  What did it do for GLK share price after spending tens if not hundreds of thousands of shareholder dollars?? Answer is clear....NADA ..the little blip of an increase came on the news of the Matheson plant pending production date and by the time the advertising blitz got into full swing at Stockhouse GLK began a slide right back to where it was prior to all the money being spent on "marketing"

  PR or IR firms are not the cure all some might think they are.
