RE:RE:RE:Authentix Ownership Change NDD: It’s not about the $861 Mil which btw represents the money they put into their investments and not what these investments are worth today which could be a multiple or a fraction thereof. It’s about what these Blue Water companies are all about, where they operate and what they do.
SICPA is no doubt a serious force in the track and trace / security ink / tax stamp / whatever industry but this “oil and gas from start to finish” outfit has a huge edge on SICPA which has absolutely no claim to fame in O&G.
The more I learn about SICPA, the more convinced I become that the GFI purchase was a “vanity deal” as in “we need to be into this”. The EU deal was clearly the motivating factor and it simply didn’t work out in time line terms.
