RE:RE:EU SCHEER committee evaluation still ongoing

RE:RE:EU SCHEER committee evaluation still ongoingWell actually, we know that all four candidate markers were advanced to SCHEER environmental risk evaluation, so baed on that, it seems apparent that SICPA is still a serious contender for the EU contract along with the other three competitors that all performed significantly better than the current solvent yellow.

You are also well aware that there are many other opportunities outside the EU, with the potential to be game changes for this company trading near cash value.  You were the one that pointed out SICPA has something interesting happening, where Arrundo Analytics kind of let the cat out of the bag in this press release:
Arundo contract and financing news

"We have now received the first contract with Sicpa to deliver a solution to a country we can not name. This contract is downstream and is 3.5 million dollars a year for 15 years", says Ramsy.

Also, going back to a prevous conversation about the advantages of EDXRF over field GC/MS, you provided a link to a GC/MS set-up designed for non-volatile analysis (food and drug testing), apparently completely unaware that putting a highly volatile sample of petroleum product through that system would "blow the columns" and do thousands of dollars worth of damage to the machine.  I had nothing to gain by getting into a prolonged scientific explanation with someone who doesn't have a technical background to understand the details, but now Dow and their partner Falcon Analytical Systems has made a succinct little powerpoint presentation explaining their innovative equipment and proess that is being used for the "country marker" in the UK in layman's terms:
Falcon Calidus GC/FID set-up

This Falcon Calidus system is apparently quicker than conventional field GC I have used 15 years ago, but still looks bulkier and involves more sample preparation and handling than EDXRF. The GC methods are more accurate, but the need for low ppb concentrations relative to being a swift and discreet system is a customer discretion issue that probably varries from country to country.  For example, I wouldn't want to be fumbling around in the back of that jeep letting the GC warm up:
