The recent info regarding the Boeing Max came from the recently-completed Irridium satellite network of which XCT is a part. This demonstrates the important role that XCT can provide in monitoring the maritime environment and helping to prevent or respond to tragedy.

Not disagreeing with you, but question is who needs RT data as opposed to data that is delayed by 45-60m? Do ships/vessels move that quickly that the delayed data isn't enough? I'm in XCT and am a believer it has a market, but question is how large is that market? For now, low hanging fruit is probably security purposes, like for militaries/navys and for canals/ports. I'd have to ...more

Agree with the aggregate. However, the question is what is the consumer market for these services. XCT strategic partners like Larus and Myriota provide clues. Myriota is working on the Sat Internet of Things (SIoT) which is a disruptive market of millions of users. As well the IMO recently approved the introduction of a GMDSS service by Iridium on its network, subject to Iridium passing a ...more
