RE:RE: RE:wow.....a few folks jumping ship Apropos, actually your post reads very well and matches up with my thoughts on this week's situation. First, let me say that I spoke by phone with GWT several days ago and when I asked him about Ogden he said not to focus on Ogden, which was a very early grass roots play and that KC and TPW were the properties that would drive EXS in the near future. So GWT did give this one to me straight. The 800 lb. gorilla in the room and on this BB that no one has yet brought out directly is the rumour that was passed around that we had high-grade gold in at least two of the Ogden holes, 12-14 grams. Obviously that is a far cry from what was in the NR. So that EXS is selling off today is not so much that an initial drill play turned up ho-hum results, but more that a purposely circulated rumour of 12-14 grams proved to be untrue. I don't know how that rumour got started, but I have my ideas. Anyway, the result of the NR being so far off the rumour is what is causing the heaving selling in today's trading. It is the sudden lack of confidence in EXS, not that they missed on some initial grass-roots drilling, which can be expected. The rumour raised expectations that were not even close to being met, and today some of us are feeling a bit "played." What I would like to know now, as an investor with more that a half million shares in EXS, is why Chris Dupont staked claims around Ogden recently and had EXS put out an NR that additional claims had been acquired. What in yesterday's NR would cause CD to go on a staking rush and claims acquisition frenzy in the Ogden area? Realize that many of us had heard the rumour about high grade gold at Ogden, and took that initially with the proverbial "grain of salt." But the subsequent claim staking around Ogden was a tipoff to myself and others that the rumours of high-grade in the holes at Ogden must be true. So, I would like CD and/or GWT to offer an explanation as to the reason for staking and purchasing additional claims at Ogden after they had drill results in hand from Ogden that were ho-hum at best. Is there more to the Ogden story than the initial disappointing drill results? I still believe that EXS's properties carry a much higher value that the current market cap between 10-15 million dollars. And some lackluster early drill results at Ogden should not have such a drastic effect on our ultimate value. What needs to be addressed is the lack of communication from EXS and the current lack of confidence that has been created by rumour that turned out to be just that . . . an unfounded rumour. I believe that CD could start by posting a regular (at least quarterly) "letter to shareholders" on the EXS web site explaining his plans and strategies for our major properties going forward. CD has been accessible to shareholders and does take calls. But a more formal means of communication, such as a somewhat regular letter to shareholders, would go a long way towards keeping EXS shareholders focused on strategy, what to expect going forward, and why EXS is a first-rate speculation in the junior mining space.
