Blizzard, what you are saying is absolutely correct.  From almost Day One the geos from Teck and the geos from EXS did not agree on a course of action.  The geos from EXS  reportedly have much knowledge about the peculiar geology of the Timmins region.  The younger, mostly American educated geos from Teck did not have similar knowledge, but dismissed what the EXS geos were telling them.  Consequently, according to EXS insiders, Teck wound up drilling in relatively low-probability areas with what EXS geos determined were the resulting and expected unimpressive results. 

Nature does not deposit gold the same way in various reasons.  Consequently, a gold miner's extensive knowledge of Carlin-style deposits in Nevada may not translate to success in Timmins.  A Califonia prospector's knoweldge of placer mining is of little use in finding Carlin-style deposits in Nevada, and so on.
