UNDERVALUED?...YA THINK?

Ahthe summer doldrums. With GOLD at recent lows, its nice to see EXS/EXSFF/E1H1 holding the prevailing .065-.07 level. That represents a Market Capitalization of just over $10million CDN. Lets look at the companys Cap for a minute. The Timmins Porcupine West GOLD deposit alone, with 1,000,000ounces at say $500/oz is at least $50million. The Chester Copper deposit in New Brunswick is worth at least $30million. The East Bay, PG-101, Kidd & Ogden property blocks have got to have a combined value in the tens of millions to the right buyers? Other corporate assets are all properties of merit that Ill disregard for the purpose of my little exercise. Dealing only in the assets mentioned, our Market Cap should be in the neighbourhood of $90-100million! From my perspective that translates to a relative .65-.70 stock price. I can hardly wait for the reaction Ill get to that assessment from my favorite professional bashers! I have listened to, and read literally dozens of interviews, and articles, on the future value of GOLD in USD. Experts with tremendous credentials agree, almost without exception, that GOLD will have a run up to at least USD$1,400/oz. Some, like Rob McEwen, founder of Goldcorp, has stated publicly he believes well see that before the end of 2017. His company McEwen Mining is on an expansion plan that includes acquisitions in the Timmins Porcupine Camp. Again, reiterating my recent question, Why in the world would Goldcorp be spending $2billion on a 50,000ton/day mill, and very quietly acquiring potential production in the Timmins Porcupine Camp? Globally, GOLD supply has been on a diminishing trend against a growing demand. All the Big Boys know this, and are preparing for a highly anticipated GOLD Bull Run Up, gearing up facilities, and methodically acquiring properties. Given Explors assets, Duponts recent Toronto trips, and Chesire grin in the video interview released last week, my gut tells me we may be on the cusp of a major announcement, which could have a profound impact on the equity. His absolute refusal to speak to the trips speaks volumes to me. Where theres smoke, there must be fire.

And none of it has been proven mineable. So it's worth effectively ZILCH!

My thoughts on GWT's post on the market cap of EXS: 1. Since we have been in a prolonged slump for the gold mining juniors, GWT's valuations on EXS's various assets do appear to be a bit on the rosy side. But once the market turns, and it will, many juniors such as EXS are going to be quickly re-rated. Yes, EXS is undervalued, but so is the entire junior mining space. EXS is just an ...more

Your math is off . Use 50 per once in ground gets 50 million .

Packum, you are correct . . . and even $50 per ounce may be a bit high in the current environment.  But once the bull starts to run that number will be bid up and up.  Being in Timmins, a mining friendly jurisdiction with lots of infrastruction, will help to add value to any ounces discovered in that region.  But a guesstimate of $30-$50 million for the current value of TPW would be ...more

I have not been back to this board for over a year now as I do not have the time to read bashers comments. However PJ comments like the one that you havd provided to the board are constructive and real. Thus let me thank you for a well stated post. Cheers from Australia..... long term investor in Exs with substantial holdings.

How can people sit there and argue that this little nugget of a company isn't undervalued? You look at the company in a whole and it has positioned itself right smack in the middle of some pretty big companies on either side (Goldcorp & Tahoe) These big guys are scratching their heads saying how did we let this company be next door to us? With drilling results just around the corner, I ...more
