I hope everyone reading this is keeping up with changes in the NBSK pricing.  The direction of the next trend seems pretty obvious.  NBSK is the single largest factor affecting the success or failure of a pulp company (but I guess that is or should be obvious).

BRUSSELS , Feb. 15,2011 (RISI) - Sweden's Billerud has informed clients that it will raiseits price for northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp in Europe by$30/tonne, effective March 1.

Botnia to raise price in Europe for NBSK pulp

Botnia will raise the price of NBSK (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft) effective 2011 March 1, in

Europe, as said by the company in a press release. It has been received by Lesprom Network.

In CIF Botnia’s usual European ports, the new price is $980. As agreed the other terms remain the same.

Botnia is the most cost-effective, responsible manufacturer of pulp for leading tissue, board and paper

producers in Europe and the Far East.
