Special Dividend

If nothing else (Mercer withdraws offer), the current board should issue a special dividend (one that does not require shareholder approval)  to shareholders before the Resolute offer expires. Not sure it is possible, but an extra .10-.20 to shareholders would be nice!

Not sure a scorched earth policy makes sense but it would  annoy the joint actors. There is very little doubt  that the controlling shareholders and Resolute were acting in concert. The Steelhead buys all but assure that they were telepathically communicating. Resolute was the orchestrator and filtering all info to the joint actors.    All that is left is to hear what the BDR ...more

buying at .95.  wont you make .05 here?  what's the risk?  maybe by the grace of god you actually get a divy or some strange overturn and get mercers 1.40 bid?

The problem with ABH's stink bid is its cash portion is not high.. 30 some millions. You may end up owning ABH stocks which is down quite a bit in last couple months.
