Mr. Wei Lin, it emerges, was Founding Partner at Lightheart Management Partners in Vancouver.

In March 2020, Lightheart Management Partners was engaged by Media Central's previous CEO, Mr. Brain Knish, to "support... development strategy."

He is plainly formidable as an experienced management guy with access to dough. It's puzzling how he might have wound up as an ally of a nebbish such as Knish, but that's plainly the case.

So, RC, you've uncovered the real story here. It's appears to be the Brain Knish faction versus the Manos faction, with Kirk in the role of Nikita Khruschev, angling to retain his position as General Secretary through all the Politburo tumult.
