FEL’s principal asset is a 70% interest in the GSEC101 offshore license located to the north west of the Philippine island of Palawan. The area is approximately 10,360 square kilometers and contains the Sampaguita gas discovery, which has expected gas in place of 3.4 Trillion Cubic Feet (TCF) and potential upside to 20 TCF. The Company also has an investment in a gold exploration project in the Philippines.

RE: RE: Are we finally movingWhat are you talking about ? They expect to get the service contract as reported by Forum, in the first quarter 2010. Would Philex put another 2. 5 million into FEC if they knew there was no service contract coming? I don't think so.
If Philex wanted Fec for its ownership of Forum and Galoc oil only then it would likely arrange to acquire all of the FEC shares.
Just my 1.5 cents but it looks like Philex have primed this one for more good news.
