I am with you. I have been waiting a lone time for share price to recover. I was sure with the new CEO we was on the right track. Now we have this. Gold up and all of my miners doing well I am thinking of taking the loss and moving on.

Well they are being very strategic.  They had two very large institutions that wanted in badly from now and they couldnt resist as we know cash is king. This bascially takes all derisking out but they are able to explore their other assets as well as any issues not only for pfs but also fs.  They are very smart and planning and they are now set with any hiccups.  I am glad they ...more

Trust the process, FF management is not known for trying to pad their pockets w money. There is method behind this madness, they are either going to buy something or release plans soon. If anything this gives it a 50c floor barring further drop in gold price. IMHO you had a good opportunity to average down w 46c shares this week. If we dont drop below 1900 gold soon this will be north of 54c in a ...more

Could be worse, could be $.15 again!

I'm not saying it will be $.15 again. I just meant things have been worse!

I agree they already have funding from First Majestic for the Silver Stream. Why further dillute shares at this point. They should have waited for additional funds at the sector heats up and the shares appriciate. I agree the company should have waited until the Treasury shares were paid out to the long term investors not the Johnny come lately. Management allow the shares to rise they have been ...more

As long as you don't need your money short term (within the next 10 yrs), you should be ok. I have been heavily invested in FF since 2015 and had hoped that it would pay off. It hasn't and now I wait until when/if we get the TML shares and then I'm out! I own nearly 3/4 of a million shares. I've been told that this is now a 30 yr plan. If you talk to management, they will say ...more

I agree with the sediment. I choose this stock, mostly, because I was diversifying my profits but also because of the better market evaluation relative to other companies that i've been tracking. I got in just to hold a piece but i'm going to continue to thorw a couple dollars at it over the course of the PM consolidation period.

Guys... This is a junior, explorer corp... I guess y'all would have more peace of mind with producers corp... Because juniors get financed by raising cash... Technically everytime they raise cash they are supposed to invest it good so that investors feel like every dollar raised will give more in value after investment.. FF will fly in due time... But not one shot to the top... It's ...more

I think you are missing the point, I am very aware of explorers need to raise capital, the timing here is the issue, They JUST got what 25 mil for selling the silver stream to First Majestic, and in an interview with Keith Neumeyer sp? a couple weeks ago he said they did this to among other things reduce the need for FF to dilute thier shares and that this was enough cash to fund the company for ...more

Exactly, I could not agree more! The timing is what stinks with all of this and it's almost impossible to feel like you're not getting the shaft!!

Valid point and I also spoke to them with similar concern. 1. Firstly they had 2 strategic institution large players take most of it and are total new shareholders.  2. This slows contingency for any hiccups and first majestic is not all cash right away but in slow stages.  3.  It also allows to explore more of their other assets in Quebec especially and consolidate to make another ...more

thanks for sharing this...  I see amazing potential here... I am sure the conversation was had and decided the best path forth was to accept cash now and dillute. Time will tell if that was the right call, one thing we know for sure,,,, was,,,,,...SOME PEOPLE GOT ONE HELL OF A DEAL!.... I would have mortgaged the farm on it... Unfortunately, the number of shares outstanding is now becoming a ...more

"Our recent financing leaves First Mining in a very strong position to continue to move Springpole forward toward these critical de-risking milestones." good update... I went looking on the website for the timeline for springpole.... I remember seeing it not too long ago, now I cannot find it, can anyone help? springpole is a rare deposit in grade and size.. this will become a very ...more
