RE:worthless contracts ?
RE:worthless contracts ?
IMO those contracts were null and void as soon as the floor pricing didn't hold. FTP is basically selling their DP production at spot prices at the current time.
Interesting SP ride yesterday.
As for the analyst's updates, basically Scotia and Royal are saying FTP is not worth much more than cash in the bank and is attributing no value to any of the assets. If, as some on this board have said, the Thurso cogen will contribute $1 per share in cash flow I don't think those analysts quite have it right either. Have to say though this investment has been an out and out disaster for me. In the short term the best thing that could happen to FTP is for Chad to step aside or if Chad is such a believer in his vision buy us out for $15 a share and take this dog private. I'd be happy to take that and run. Looks like it will be at least another 2 quarters until we see some light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully that light won't be another train. The only thing keeping me in right now is the fact that we have enough cash to buy time. Very frustrated. Sorry for the rant but as I said in earlier posts the rose coloured glasses came off a long time ago as far as FTP is concerned.
