Newmont's Elanore Mine Stats

According to Newmonts 2021 mineral reserves report, their Elanore mine has proven and probable Au of 1.82 M Oz @ 5.05 g/t,  which was estimated with a 4.3 g/t cutoff and $1,200/oz gold price.

Being an underground mine, does anyone have any idea what the cutoff grade might be at $1,800 - $1,900/oz gold?

Also, the Sirios property next door with 1.4 Moz indicated at .94 g/t and 0.5 Moz inferred at .73 g/t are based on an open pit constrained model with .35 g/t cutoff at $1,650 gold price.  Newmont owns 12% of Sirios.  Given the major difference between the Sirios MRE and Newmont's Elanore mine, I am curious to know exactly what kind of discovery Newmont is hoping for Fury to make on ...more

777, You have brought up some observations that may well affect the fortunes of FURY. NEM may well be the best possibility with regards to a potential takeover. What is going on in the area you are investigating requires a lot more info and clarification from the players involved. Hopefully, more will be revealed.

MaterialsMan, It seems that I am late to the party (unsurprisingly) on the observation about Sirios's Cheechoo deposit. On the Sirios forum on both Stockhouse and CEO.CA, the investors in Sirios seem to have taken note of this significance in deliniation between properties and, from a recent interview done with the Sirios CEO this year, a deal being made between Fury and Sirios as far as ...more

Nothing much has happened with Sirios for years .They have been exploring Cheechoo for years .i used to own it several years ago but gave up waiting .There is nothing wrong with the principals of Fury wanting to make money .To me the key is thier ownership in Dolly which has broken out in price .Also hasn't gone anywhere for years and all of a sudden has popped up .As I expressed before buying ...more
