George Young would know how much the shell and tax credits are worth. He was in a similar position with Reliance after the write-off of Indonesian properties.

My understanding is tax loss is against capital gains not personal income. Flow-through shares, on the other hand, seem to be against personal income. It is only beneficial to Canadian tax payers ...more

Yes that the way it works you leave the loss in your account until you need a capital gains offset for me thats worth approx. 30% with the recents approx.3X FROM GNC a complete loss on RCG does not ...more

My interpretation was the following ... I thought if a company made 140 million profit and their tax rate was 17 percent that they would owe 23.8 million in taxes and then be able to use those 25 ...more
