RE:RE:RE:RE:the last day for bids

RE:RE:RE:RE:the last day for bidsBeen a bit, very busy and I didn't seea lot of point to just bantering about while the stock was halted and while we were basically in a holding pattern waiting for offers. I will see what I can find out about what offers came in. At this point I do not know.

I have heard that ANX had stated they would definitely be bidding; however, I do not know exactly what that meant - it could be a bid for one of the assets only (Duffern, Tangier, Forest Hill) or a bid for the company as a whole, in which case they would have access to the tax credits as well.

I have heard rumblings of another bid potentially coming in connected to George Young; 2 different ones actually. There was an earlier bid group that George was working with, but that group apparently backed away and rumors are that there is now a second group he is working with. George and I have played a little telephone tag over the past couple of days, but will connect soon and I'll see what is going on there.

My last communication with Jack was Thursday; he was expecting about 1/2 dozen bids, but could not say for sure until the bid window closed (yesterdya). The raeson for the May extension is so that there is a time frame in which the company can negotiate with the interested parties once they knw how many there are and what the bids actually are. The fact there is a negotiating window means that "if" there are mutiple bids, the potential for the end price to get closer to market value improves - but that is dependent on actually receiving multiple bids.

I will post again once I have had the opportunity to discuss what transpired yesterday,

Salut,
Leigh McBain
