financing

Appreciate the comments Eljoro. I think I have posted this before, but I think that the ONLY thing that will move this stock is that they can show they have financing.  IF they do, I think there will be significant upside.  Fundamentals have only improved.  For a junior miner, I think they are in a better position than most.  Unfortunately, if they cannot show that they have financing, I think it is hibernation mode for this stock - who do you think they can tap for financing... private equity?? senior producer??  It s a tough one.  Would appreciate thoughts, but from an investor standpoint, nothing matters more than finding that money at this point.

I will repost this as it is representative of the junior market sentiment right now re finanicing....     BOYD ERMAN 05:00 EST Tuesday, Apr 30, 2013   Four months into one of the slowest years on record for small Canadian securities firms, some boutique investment dealers are finally beginning to give in to the reality that making a go of it in this market is a very long ...more

why don't they allow current shareholders to participate in a financing.maybe for every four shares you own you have the option of purchasing 1 share at .10 with a half warrant at .15

Of course you could just buy as many as you want right now for .08-.085 and try and flip them for .10.    You realize any financing of any real dollar amount will dilute the cr$p out of GIX. Making shares worth even less, right?    Things will turn around, after all yesterday Flanders said we've hit bottom on the POG.......wait, hold it, huh....looks like it& ...more

thats because so many people got burned by pumpers during 09/10 when things went nuts, everyone and their dog started a company but very few had any property worth any value. once the chaos settles and all of the juniors with no property of value fall out and fold the remaining companies will be keepers.

I would read the first few pages of the MD&A from 5/7 if you want a sense of what the company is thinking about this play right now.   Unfortunately like all juniors they are burning cash in what has become a no-investing zone aka the Venture Exchange.  They can hold out for about another year at current rates or maybe go into a longer term survival mode while hoping to find ...more
