Trading ?

When ?

I emailed the the tsxv in regards to GEM as I lost $ with GCO and appears on google that the company is a car battery store ?! #WOWS

Cobalt in high demand we need to start trading GCO had an agreement with Panasonic.

The sad probable outcome here is that GCO will never likely never trade again. GEMC may trade, however with the management team behind it and their track-record that goes along with that, expect little to no interest from the investment community, leaving those holding the bag today doing just that tomorrow. As a current shareholder I have adjusted my expectations to just that.

Really?GCO may never trade again? You must know something I don't know, where do I find the information that would lead me to this conclusion?
Comment by Winwarrior on Nov 29, 2016 7:15am
Although anything is possible I understand that GCO's main shareholder IMHL has been paying the freight to get GCO back up and trading. IMHL has millions invested in GCO so unless it will receive compensation / reward from some other direction not having GCO trading and Karakul moving forward would be a huge loss. But frankly who knows with these guys. The problem as I see it is no one is ...more

My broker spoke with somebody in Vancouver (GEMC)? They sound like they are distancing themselves from Karakul and writing it off as IMHL are a world away from the TSXV, literally, and it doesn't sound optimistic. I think he called here T 604.688.4219 ext 236jstallwood@globalenergymetals.com

Well I was notified by TD that the GEMC shares in my TFSA are a non-qualified investment. Anyone else out there with the same issue??

I like GCO over GEM.

Same thing, but within an RSP account. I had to swap for .01 and move them out to non-registerd cash acct.

Disheartening to hear that siegfried13, a few months back Erin said she wouldn't give up on the re-trade.
Comment by DRYOASIS on Nov 29, 2016 8:19pm
Yeah that's a bummer but I'm still hoping GCO will sell the project to the highest bidder.
Comment by Winwarrior on Nov 29, 2016 9:57pm
Erin and a few others at the old GCO have a pile of money tied up in GCO, hard cash. If it goes south they will lose as well. Now perhaps they can print shares and give them to themselves at GEMC to get their money back but I suspect if GCO was to go out of business they would be mucho disappointed.

siegfried13....my broker spoke to someone who knows someone who heard that someone said that TSXV distorts facts on a daily basis, and are associated with the Russian mafia, who have a dislike for investors in general and are hoping the Karakul mining area goes up in smoke!Does this sound silly?I agree, but it  is a more interesting story than the one you posted.

3 months since last press release ... I demand a conclusion to this story !
Comment by thinkwithme on Dec 01, 2016 8:58am
I know nothing more than what information  is available and my assessment of it. This is in the hands of a Russian firm. (and what comes with that territory). Do you believe they have any concern or feel any onbligation to  a group of retail shareholders from Canada / US? If you do, than hold hope it will trade again. I do not.
Comment by steamerlane on Dec 01, 2016 10:51am
You assume that are not any shareholders in Russia, and that GCO has no wish to move the company forward, which would include the benefits from have a publicly listed and trading company.
Comment by Winwarrior on Dec 01, 2016 12:06pm
You have much ammo on your side. That being said GCO owes IMHL about $4million and is 62% owned by IMHL which is a Russian company. IMHL most likely also wants to maintain good relations with EBRD who have about $20million in this venture. Now I guess GCO still could die and IMHL could work out a deal with EBRD so anything is possible. Odd though that IMHL would prefer not to settle a $8million ...more
