One notices here in the gold forums that very few understand the monetary system.

Inflation is a driver for gold.Gold mines are traded.If the gold mines do not pay dividends, they are pure trading houses.Insiders profit from low entry prices and dilution.

If there really is a cash flow then and the small investors do not profit again.I have experienced this many times.

 

Conclusion: For small investors and non-traders, mining shares are useless and pure money-burning machines.The prices confirm all this.Not even after 10 years has Gold X Mining generated any added value.

Just curious as to why you keep posting on mining sites and bashing mining cos. There are a lot of dogs, and so far GLDX has underperformed, but I've also done extemely well with stocks like GBR, PGM, SKE, AOT, MOZ, TKO and various others.

There will always be individual stocks in a sector that perform. Look at the HUI in general, it is extremely weak considering where it has been at higher gold prices.
