No that's not the reason.

I think you don't understand the money system.After waiting 10 years in miners i know that.
I listened to all this gold bugs and they where always wrong.Since 10 years.
I would recommand you Andreas Beck youtube videos.But it's in german.
And i stay to my opinion the gold miner stocks are highly manipulatet.
All this gold bugs pusher make money with the fear of the people.In the meantime i missed a lot of goo opportunitys in the "normal stockmarket".Okay that's my problem.

Don't lament the opportunity cost of not investing in the general stock market. You go down that path you will get wed to those type stocks. Do that and you will miss out when we finally hit pay dirt. Better to be a year early than a day late!!!
