BJ's Club has 200 stores!New info on the number of BJ's Club stores...
FACTS:
-BJ's openened it's 200th store on June 18, 2013 and is in 15 states.
-Verizon has been operating and staffing kiosks in all BJ's since 2005.
-Diamond has no start-up costs, no staff to hire, they simply take over the kiosks from Verizon on August 1st and instantly start making profit.
QUESTIONS:
-Why did Glentel say 12 states instead of 15 in their press release?
-Why would Verizon simply hand over the operation of this profitable BJ's chain to Diamond?
-No mention of the cost for taking this over from Verizon?
-Could this be part of a bigger deal that involves Verizon coming to Canada and being sold in over 400 Glentel stores? A contract sweetener?
-Is Glentel being secretive about this deal because there's a bigger deal in the works?
